Frequently Asked Questions

Q? Which lease terms can I choose from

A.

You can choose from either a 6 month lease or a year lease. New leases are mailed out when the old lease expires, and you may be subject to an inspection of the apartment before a new lease is granted. If you are behind at the time of signing a new lease your security deposit may be used to cover any balances in which case a new security deposit will be needed at the time of signing the new lease.

Q? What fees can expect to pay when signing a lease

A.

The exact fees depend on the unit you choose, but you can expect to pay the security deposit and 1st months rent. The security deposit is required at the signing of the lease and the 1st months rent is required before moving in.

Q? Can I take a tour of the unit before I sign the lease

A.

Yes absolutely! We will schedule a showing in the exact unit you will be signing the lease for. If all is well we can go ahead and sign the lease then and there or look at other available units.

Q? I have pets, Are they allowed

A.

Please mention pets when you call, only certain pets are allowed and we don't allow dogs!

Q? How do I send a maintenance request

A.

In the event of something breaking inside the unit or leaks or bad appliances you just need to call your land lord and he will make sure it gets fixed within a day or two. Maintenance works faster if you give us permission to access the apartment as soon as we can wether your home or not.

Q? Do I have to switch over anything in my name when moving in

A.

Yes, upon moving in... You must call CL&P and get your electricity switched over in your name, also you are responsible for setting up your own cable and internet accounts of your choosing. (some units may come pre setup to receive comcast cable)

Q? What happens if I miss rent

A.

If you are late on rent, you may be subject to a late fee. If you become a month behind you may be subject to an eviction! We do not like to evict our tenants so please pay your rent on time.
